Victoria Voxxx Stars in Casey Calvert’s New Psychological Thriller
Victoria Voxxx stars in the latest release from frequent collaborator, director Casey Calvert. Sorrow Bay is Calvert’s latest story-driven adult feature and Victoria is right at home playing an evil siren seductress. She even gets to showcase her singing talents as she seduces her prey.
Victoria’s passion and drive have brought her to the attention of directors who shoot scripted features and Sorrow Bay is one of her favorites. “This was an extremely fun and challenging project, “ says Victoria. “It’s one thing to remain natural and authentic when acting, but in this case, remaining “natural” as an evil siren, seducing woman with her singing voice, it was a challenge to figure out what felt “natural” for her. Wearing a prop like the black contacts helped me decide that she was much more a creature with habits and body language, than a human to make relatable.
Director Casey Calvert had this to say about working with Victoria “Sorrow Bay is a psychological horror movie, and for that, I needed someone who could really commit to the seriousness of the part. It also needed an actress with a huge amount of presence. Victoria has all of that, and I wrote the part with her in mind. Victoria is one of my favorite actors to work with. She’s incredibly talented, and hugely dedicated. I’ve never given her a part, big or small, that she didn’t throw herself into.”
Victoria loves working with Casey and her team and shared, “Casey Calvert was extremely helpful, in usual Calvert fashion, in my decisions about how to portray this character and I am so thankful she chose me to be her haunted little mermaid! Go check it out if you wanna see who lives, and who “ends up swimmin’ with the fishes!”
