Victoria Voxxx is celebrating after two of the movies she starred in had a big night at the 2023 XBIZ Awards held in Hollywood California this past weekend.
Adult companies, performers and fans came together for the annual X3 Expo on Friday and Saturday with the awards following on Sunday evening. Lust Cinema cast Victoria in two of the features that won big this weekend. Going Up and Sorrow Bay are both directed by Casey Calvert who has made quite a name for herself taking on story driven porn projects. Going Up is story of a theatrical performance company who are mounting a play that their sold-out audience won’t soon forget. The ensemble cast did such an amazing and were awarded the Feature Movie of the Year honor. The lesbian thriller Sorrow Bay led by Victoria, took home the All-Girl Movie of the Year award.
The ecstatic Victoria Voxxx had this to say about both Lust Cinema projects, “I am so excited to see “Sorrow Bay” get the accolades it deserves. Casey Calvert had the coolest vision for this creepy seaside lesbian thriller, as Kira calls it. The cast was essentially myself and my closest friends in the industry. I am so thankful to the entire cast, and crew. But mostly to Casey for continuing to believe in me and challenge me with these incredible rolls. The evil Siren is by far one of my favorite characters I’ve played.”
Victoria went on to add, “I am extremely thrilled that “Going Up” was awarded Movie of the year. This was an extremely challenging project, powered by willpower and passion. This project wasn’t sexy. It wasn’t a porno, by any means, except for the fact that the storyline had hardcore sex in it… this was a plot driven movie. The cast were actors who wanted to be seen for their acting. And we were. This movie gives me hope for the future of porn. The industry is already so full of incredible artists with far more than sex to offer. Again, thanks to Lust Cinema and Casey Calvert, we all got to flex all of our guns, the ones beneath our clothing and the ones deeper than that. “Going up” is different from anything I’ve created so far, in the best way. And I’m ecstatic to see how well it has been received. Thank you XBIZ for the recognition of these awesome projects. Thank you Lust Cinema, you have become sort of a home to me and Casey Calvert for providing me with the playground of my dreams. I can’t wait for the next recess!”
Nexxxt Level co-owner Jonathan Morgan shared his thoughts on Victoria’s range in the industry, “Victoria has proven herself time and time again, whether she’s on stage with her band or on the set of her latest movie, Victoria gives 110%. Whenever we get contacted by Casey for a Lust Cinema project for Victoria, we know the end result will be something special. Congratulations to everyone involved in both of these projects.”
