April Flores Pens Essay For “We Too, Essays on Sex Work and Survival”

NEXXXT LEVEL’S April Flores is excited to share her writing in a collaborative collection of narrative essays from sex workers in the latest publication from the Feminist Press called WE TOO.

March 3rd at 6:30pm April will participate in a group reading with editor Natalie West and other contributors Sonya Aragon, Vanessa Carlisle, Milcah Halili and Yin Q. They invite you to join them, as they share their stories. The group and its community hope you will support and attend. Here is a link to make either an in-person, or virtual, attendance happen.

April had this to share about her involvement with WE TOO, “Our culture has a perpetual fascination with sex work and workers. Oftentimes media is created about us, but the more insightful and meaningful work is created by us. These are our stories shared in our own words. It is a thrill and honor to have my essay included in We Too, alongside so many people I respect and admire. As a lifelong LA resident, it’s a dream come true to be part of an event at the iconic Skylight Books on March 3rd at 6:30 pm.”
